Buyer and Rent to Own Questions As a home-buyer, Shelter One Solutions' innovative Rent-To-Own program makes getting a home very easy. Our terms include no bank qualifying, low down payments and time to get your credit repaired in order to use traditional financing when the time is right. What's involved? Contact us to let us know what you are looking for in a home. Once we have matched you up with a home that will meet your needs, we'll meet and get the paperwork started. Usually we can get everything together in just a few days. After that we sign the papers, do the money part and you move in. It couldn't be simpler. What are the costs? We typically
charge 3% to 5% of the house price for the "Option Consideration"
This is our fee that gives you exclusive rights to buy the house
down the road, typically within 3 years. Also the Option Consideration
goes towards the price of the house which we determine before you
sign the contract. After that, you simply pay the monthly lease
payment and the house is yours. Ask about our matching program to
help you lower the price of the house!
